CONNECTING
A SPONSOR TO
ONE OF IRELAND’S
MOST REVERED THEATRES

Three are one of Ireland’s leading sponsors of live music and we have worked with them on some of amazing campaigns to elevate their #1 status but when we heard they were about to add another venue, and one of Ireland’s most prestigious, to their already high profile venue and festival sponsorship portfolio.

REACHING
IM-PRESS-IVE
RESULTS

Managing the reactions of the public was always going to be a challenge, however, we could assist this by ensuring that the media coverage of the sponsorship was fair and balanced. From announcement we managed and monitored the media discussions securing over 60 pieces of coverage across national Broadcast, Print and Online outlets including headlines on RTE Radio 1’s Morning Ireland, Today FM and Newstalk throughout the day, an exclusive feature interview with Three CCO Elaine Carey in the Business Post and featured in UK press such as The Guardian, with an overall reach of 4.9 million.

ORCHESTRAL MANOEUVRES
IN THE ARTS

With the news out in the world, we had one last surprise for the big finale, we knew we had to do something BIG for the music loving fans across the country. With venues still closed to the public we developed a one-off special music programme. To pay tribute to some of the amazing songs performed in the theatre. Partnering with eight unbelievably talented Irish artists, we paired them with the 18-piece Liberty Orchestra to deliver a very special exclusive performance from the stage of 3Olympia Theatre, including reuniting a collaboration between Saint Sister, Jafaris and Kormac from a previous Three campaign.

The show was broadcast in partnership with national radio 2FM, a first time for the national broadcaster to get behind such an idea, promoting the live stream date cross station and on their social media channels. The full stream reached 200k viewers across Facebook and YouTube as well as featuring in key music and lifestyle coverage on the likes of Hot Press, Buzz.ie and national newspapers The Irish Mirror and the Irish Daily Star.
